    Description

    This is a marvelous hand crafted keepsake/dresser box that stands 5" high to the top of the finial on the lid, is approximately 4 1/2" in diameter, and has an interior depth of 2".  The box was produced by machine wood turning, and the finely detailed relief design is all hand carved. Abstract flowers, leaves and petals decorate the front and trail off in miniature form around the sides.
    The lid fits securely onto the top of the box, and the deep chocolate color complements so very well the natural wood of the carved relief.  We do note that there is some green color under the glazed surface in the area of the lid, and a few minor dings and scratches to the box surface.
    The artist/artisan's name, Hugo Saldivar & Mexico is printed under the base of this lovely ornamental box, whether it be used as a functioning keepsake box or only for display.
