    Bernice Goodspeed - Mid Century Hand Crafted Brass Footed FISH Box With Inlaid Abalone, Rosewood Lined.
    Offered in original untouched condition, we have made no attempt to clean or polish this and will leave that to the buyer. This has some wear as expected from age and use, the rosewood lining has surface scratches but no chips or cracks.
    Note that the lid does not sit perfectly (see photos 1, 3 & 12 ) but is not readily noticeable.

    A very heavy box, this sits solid and stable with no wobbling.
    The applied feet are striking ... beautifully designed.
    Overall, it measures  6" x 4-5/8" x 2-1/4" high.
    On the bottom it is Stamped: Taxco Mexico and is signed with Bernice Goodspeed's letter mark 'B'.
    We estimate this dates 1950's - 60's.
