    This is a
    Vintage Mexican Abalone Shell Covered Brass Cigarette Box.  measuring 3 3/4" wide x 4" in depth x 1" high.  The box is covered in squares and rectangles of natural abalone shell, all except the base.  The interior of the box is lined in a hard wood.  The structure of the box is brass.
    There are 2 pieces missing on one corner of the box, a few cracks and chips to the top that are hard to notice and a chip missing on the side..  No other missing pieces.  The box is in structurally great condition.
